Scott Sandland has a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University and multiple certifications in hypnosis and hypnotherapy. He is on the Board of Directors for the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, a chapter President for the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, and on the ethics board for the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners.
Scott has been recognized as a Life Fellow, Innovator of the Year, Educator of the Year, and more from multiple hypnosis organizations. He has been published in multiple peer reviewed journals including the American Chiropractic Association and the American Dental Association (among others).
Scott has been working in hypnosis since 1998 in both private practice and on staff in various clinical facilities in the Newport Beach Area and specializes in supporting existing programs as a member of a treatment team. Clients find Scott’s approach to be conversational, provocative, and effective. In his private sessions and groups, he uses narrative therapies as metaphor sets to bypass initial resistance to change.
