Pierre-Etienne Vannier, CHt. graduated from the International Business School of Tours, France, and has a Master of Science (MSc) in International Management from the University of Sherbrooke, Canada. He has additional trainings in hypnotherapy from the Hypnosis Practitioner Training Institute (USA), the Omni Hypnosis Training center (USA), the HMI College of Hypnotherapy (USA), the American Board of NLP (USA), and the Universal School of Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapy (UAE).
He has been working in the field of skill-building and community empowerment since 2005. He specializes in dealing with stress & trauma (with a focus on stress management, trauma recovery, behavioral change, and immune disorders). He integrates clinical hypnosis, mindfulness and NLP to teach his clients approaches and strategies designed to build resources, foster resilience and sustain long-term progress.
He is an independent contractor with the Huntington Hospital Cancer Center in Pasadena, CA and The Rose for Women, a drug rehabilitation center in Newport, CA. His community work include volunteering with organizations supporting people living with HIV/AIDS and/or low-income populations, as well as training field hospital volunteers during the Egyptian Revolution. For eight years, he worked with the United Nations Development Program, supporting people living with HIV/AIDS and populations at risk of HIV. He has offices in Burbank, Altadena, and Newport, CA and serves an international clientele via Skype.
