Trish Alderman is a Mind-Body-Spirit Coaching Practitioner and a professional member of the National Council on Family Relations whose work focuses on guiding clients through goal-oriented sessions aimed at in-depth personal and interpersonal self-improvement. Trish’s background, training, and experience includes integrative life coaching, hypnosis and NLP, mindfulness, habit-based behavior change, stress management and relaxation, performance enhancement for sports and fitness professionals, and relationship enrichment techniques grounded in the principles of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) personality inventory.
Trish is a Certified Hypnosis Practitioner and a magna cum laude graduate from the Hypnosis Practitioner Training Institute in Newport Beach. She earned her AAS in Communications Applications Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, her BS in Management of Human Resources from Excelsior College, and her MS in Management from the University of Maryland. Trish has additional training in energy work and reiki from the California College of Physical Arts, and in fitness and nutrition from the National Personal Training Institute, where she serves in an ongoing adjunct faculty capacity as an Advanced Personal Training Certification Instructor. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Sports Management at the United States Sports Academy. Trish is also a decorated 9/11 military veteran and the recipient of a Joint Service Commendation Medal from the National Security Agency earned for her service during Operation Enduring Freedom / Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Trish’s results-oriented sessions help her clients to achieve creative, effective, and fulfilling outcomes and resolutions to a wide range of issues, such as smoking cessation, weight management, tension/anxiousness, and more. She embraces a holistic approach to changework, empowering her clients with the appropriate skills and tools so that they can replace unwanted, unproductive feelings and behaviors with desired, productive feelings and behaviors and, ultimately, create the lives they want to live. Inherent in Trish’s mission and philosophy is the value of respect for all individuals and the drive to provide a safe, inclusive space that supports and affirms the diverse identities and lives of each unique client. In addition to the coaching services that she provides at The Newport Clinic and several Newport Beach area chemical dependency treatment centers, she also conducts private mobile and distance sessions serving clients in the greater Los Angeles area.
